About me

I am Martina

My passion is to inspire people to discover their full potential so they can to live fearlessly and be carefree and happy.

My approach combines Contemplative Psychotherapy with Motivational and Performance Psychology. I integrate various elements of Somatic Trauma Therapy, Movement Science and Mindfulness Practice to create unique program for you.

After earning my master’s degree in psychology with a focus on motivational psychology, I spent seven seasons in the Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, and Ladakh) studying Buddhism at Kathmandu University and leading high mountain tours and cultural trips.

In the winter seasons I worked with professional athletes in Switzerland and taught yoga, yoga therapy, skiing and snowboarding.

In 2017, I moved to Boulder, Colorado, to follow my passion at Naropa University where I furthered my education in Eastern and Western Science, Buddhism, and Psychotherapy.

I have degrees in psychology (University of Zurich, Switzerland), contemplative psychotherapy and Buddhist psychology (Naropa University, Colorado, USA), and am trauma therapist (Somatic Experiencing) and performance coach.

I work in German and English.

It is my passion to be active. I’ve been a snowboarder for many years and I regularly competed in snowboarding events in my youth. In my free time, I enjoy biking, skiing, kiting and mountaineering; I lead trekking tours and teach yoga on a regular basis.

I know how good it feels to be in the flow. The unity of body and mind enhances my performance and gives me a great feeling.

How much more could we achieve if we overcame down our mental blocks?

It’s my vision to show you the capacity of your mental power to remove blockages and alleviate mental stress to bring out the best version of yourself.

“Having control of the mind means that literally anything that happens can be a source of joy” M.Csikszentmihalyi

Mindfulness Coaching and Therapy are suitable for all those who want to deal more successfully with insecurity, fear, and other emotions; for those who want to discover a stronger connection to their true self and their environment, and to learn how to strengthen their resilience and become antifragile.

In my work I focus on people who not only want to train their mind, but also want to get to know and break through the inner blockages that hold them back.

My therapeutic work is mindfulness oriented and I specialize in clients who:

  • Are going through a life change or are ready to make a change.
  • Are struggling with illness, pain, stress, trauma and injury.
  • Who want to optimize their performance.
  • With agencies, educators or trainers who want to use mindfulness with their clients.
